My favorite in the blue: BT1—abbreviations for court documents.
Example: Let’s say you are citing Plaintiff’s Motion for Summary Judgment filed September 1, 2022. You want to cite page 5, and it’s docket number 15. Here’s what that would look like, thanks to BT1 (see Rule B17):
Pl.’s Mot. Summ. J., at 5 (Sept. 1., 2022) (ECF No. 15).
